‘Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’ DLC Release This Month, Brings ‘Dragon Ball Super’ Characters

The wait for the highly anticipated "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC release date just got even more exciting. Aside from previously announced "Dragon Ball Super" characters that will be making it into the game as playable characters, Bandai Namco just dropped juicy details about the upcoming update.

As if the prospect of playing the overpowered "Dragon Ball Super" characters is not thrilling enough, Bandai Namco finally lifted the veil surrounding the upcoming DLC. According to the publisher via the game's official site, the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC will come in two parts. There is a free update that will tons of content to all players as well as a paid DLC.

The "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" free update will be bringing a host of gameplay enhancements. For instance, five new costumes, five new attacks, and five new accessories will be available to all gamers with the arrival of the free update.

In addition, the upcoming "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" free update will introduce some changes to its mechanics. Bandai Namco revealed that there will be new world tournament rules, the maximum cap for time patroller will be increased to level 90, two new Expert Mission as well as a new option to change BGM when in battles.

On the other hand, the paid "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC will be bringing in new playable characters from the "Dragon Ball Super" anime as previously reported by MStars News. However, the paid DLC promises to bring even more content to the game when it arrives this month.

Aside from the new characters, the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC will likewise introduce new story missions. The publisher even hints that the upcoming update will have a new stage called Unnamed Planet. Players will be able to use a new vehicle called the Space Pod that would come in handy in roaming around a bigger Toki Toki City, as previously revealed in a Crunchyroll interview.

In addition, the paid "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC will give players eight new attacks and three new costumes. Players will also have new emotes and five new Super Souls at their disposal when they buy the paid DLC or get it via the Season Pass.

At the moment, though, Bandai Namco is yet to reveal the exact "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC release date but has promised that it will be coming out February. Enjoy the trailers showcasing the two new characters Champa and Vados from the "Dragon Ball Super" anime.
