'This Is Us' Season 1 Episode 15 Recap: Rebecca, Jack's Fight Raises Some Difficult Relations

The Valentine episode of the TV series "This Is Us" turns out to be as opposite as the Pearson couple had a crucial part of their marriage life-- their first major fight. Aside from this quite less romantic highlight, the episode would also revolve around Randall's saddening problems and his trip with William.

The root of the pair's problem comes from Rebecca Pearson's (played by Mandy Moore) desire to attend a musical tour with her band. Jack Pearson (played by Milo Ventimiglia) positively supported her wife's wish. On the other hand, he suspects her handsome band mate named Ben has feelings for her.

In the said episode, there were few conversations with Ben in Rebecca's show. Soon, Jack will figure out his wife dated the guy when she was nineteen years old. On her defense, Rebecca says that her previous relationship with Ben was just a meaningless fact. She also claims that she did not tell

Jack about him since he might not let her go on the tour if he knows. Jack feels somehow betrayed and being lied to, as how Glamour posted.

Some of the casts,especially Moore and Ventimiglia talk about their own perspectives regarding the episode. According to Fem News, Moore sees Jack's refusal to let Rebecca on her tour as "disheartening". Ventimiglia has a different point. He believes that Jack cannot easily adapt to changes that makes it hard for him to let his wife attend the event. Looks like the casts themselves have different sides on the said marriage issue.

On the other hand, Randall could not recover from the fact that his father, William, would soon leave the world. This matter about his biological father, including some work issues, creates his bothersome attitude that eventually taking its toll even to his own family.
