Brooks confirmed in a recent interview that Amberle (Poppy Drayton) is certainly in "The Shannara Chronicles" Season 2. However, fans may question how, since she turned into a tree at the end of Season 1.

The author revealed that he already pitched his idea on how to bring Amberle back in "The Shannara Chronicles" Season 2. He declined to reveal what it is. However, Brooks assured that Amberle is not coming out as or from the tree, since it would be terrible storytelling. "I told them how they could do it, so we'll see. But yeah, I think she's [Drayton] signed on for another season or so, and she'll back for that," Brooks told SciFiNow UK.

Meanwhile, details about the plot in "The Shannara Chronicles" Season 2, reveals a skip in timeline. The instalment takes place a year after the events in Season 1.
