The anime series of the popular card game "Yu-Gi-Oh!" is adding another card on its deck. Titled "Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS", card battles will now take place on cyberspace, along with some hover board action.

Recent images have surfaced for the sixth season of the beloved franchise. As seen on Anime News Network, the main visual gives a good shot of what to expect in the upcoming Duels. "Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS" main protagonist Yusaku Fujiki, in his 'Playmaker' appearance, is on what seems to be a hover board and a new version of the duel disk, cards included.

Behind the "Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS" lead is his main monster named 'Decode Talker', a human-like being with a design that fuses digital lines with medieval armor. 'Decode Talker' wields a large sword, ready to strike at his master's command.  Beside Fujiki is another character, only labeled as a mysterious creature. Based on its appearance on the image, however, this creature could be the mascot for "Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS", much like 'Kuriboh' in the first series.

A couple of images were also shown, both focusing on Fujiki. As Comic Book reported, the first image shows him in his regular school outfit. Sporting a wild and colorful hairstyle reminiscent of previous installments of "Yu-Gi-Oh!", the "Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS" protagonist is described as a hacker with a sharp mind and quick judgement.

The second image has Yusaku in his 'Playmaker' getup for "Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS". Wearing a green suit that screams "Super Sentai" (or "Power Rangers in the U.S.), he gets a new hairstyle that would make a 'Super Saiyan" blush.

Taking on the theme 'Take a step forward and try', "Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS" aims to inspire children to try new things and not to give u easily. The series will also be introducing a new type of summoning, called Link Summoning.

"Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS" will air starting April 2017 in Japan, replacing the current series ""Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V."
