'Rick And Morty' Season 3 New Clip Released, Teaser Will Never Let You Down...Quite Literally
The delays of the third season of 'Rick and Morty' makes the fans wonder how long are they going to wait much further. And when fans eased up a bit after Mike McMahan's "Voiceover" announcement, the most famous troll kicks them up. Yep, 'Rick and Morty' characters were possessed by Rick Astley.
The troll started with a twitter post by Mike McMahan, one of the wirters of 'Rick and Morty'. As reported by Den Of Geek, the said post contains a picture of a cover that contains 'Rick and Morty' episode 301 script. With the picture of the script cover and with this caption "Hey @RickandMorty am I allowed to say we're recording episode 301 today?" fans are obviously excited. This excitement grew when it was announced that the opening teaser of the episode will be released shortly.
The voiceover hype went from excitement to "trolled" real quick. Sure, there is a released video, and they did a recording, but what they never told fans that it will feature Rick Astley and the so-called "rickrolling".
According to CNET, Adult Swim Australia released a video on YouTube after McMahon posted his Twitter post. The video contains 'Rick and Morty' characters with Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" lyrics coming out of their mouths. And it seems like a lot of keyboards are thrown and a dozen of tables are flipped because of this troll.
Later on, McMahon said in another Twitter post that a video released that early would be a bad news. With the production team aiming for perfection, any videos from the third season would take a lot of effort and longer time to produce.
There is still no official announcement about the release date. On the other hand, fans are expecting "Rick and Morty" season 3 to come this March just like Mr. Poopybutthole predicted.
