Google's Pixel & Pixel XL Roundup Feedbacks
With Google switching from Nexus to Pixel last October, it started to gather users of Pixel and Pixel XL hoping to get feedbacks about the pros and cons of the device and for future improvement.
Krishna Kumar, the Pixel Project Lead, took an effort to gather up the user community of Pixel and Pixel XL. Apart from the positive feedbacks about the device, as it claimed to be the best Android phone right now, Kumar shares that the device is far from perfect.
According to the Pixel user community, the design of the Pixel smartphones is quite not good. The body is dull, not quite eye-catching and nothing much uniqueness on it. The aluminum chassis looks good, however, it is not waterproof, unlike other smartphones. Overall, the design is just plain and there is not much excitement when looking at the phone, as described by Knowyourmobile.
In addition, a distortion in the speaker of the Google Pixel handsets is another concern of the users. The Pixel's speaker tends to have a crisp sound when at higher volume levels.Meanwhile, Google has reportedly fixed this major bug.
Some users also suggest that Google should have designed the phone thin like other new smartphones. The Pixel XL is large at 75.7 x 154.7 mm. Some would also like that Google should get rid of the plain round fingerprint sensor instead of the G logo.
Apart from the design, display and the functions of the Pixel, where users get to review and share their feedback, issues concerning the price of the device were also included. A lot, mostly says that the Pixel and Pixel XL is too expensive. However, it may be more expensive than it looks, three months after the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones were released and was sold out pretty much quick.
