‘Total War: Warhammer’ Introduces ‘Chivalry Meter’ Along With Knights of Bretonnia [Video]
A new breed of warriors arrives to the world of Warhammer. In the upcoming Downloadable Content for Sega and Creative Assembly's "Total War: Warhammer", the chivalrous knights of Bretonnia will be the game's sixth playable faction.
The sword and shield-wielding Bretonnian army will also be bringing a new game mechanic for its entry in "Total War: Warhammer." According to GameSpot, using the faction will give access to the Chivalry Meter, a system that measures the chivalry of the player's actions.
Winning tough battles and other specific quests in "Total War: Warhammer" merits the player points under the meter, which will keep its peasants happy. Keep a low Chivalry Meter however, and the peasants start to revolt. Maintaining a high Chivalry Meter also has its advantages, especially in the later part of the game, as it will open a new objective, called the "Errantry War."
New legendary lords also make their appearance with the faction on "Total War: Warhammer". According to Segment Next, King Louen Leoncoeur, Fay Enchantress and Duke Alberic of Bordeleaux will be leading the noble new army as they face the other factions in the turn-based game based on the Warhammer franchise.
The cavalry-heavy army of Bretonnia will be up against five other factions in "Total War: Warhammer", which was released on the PC last May 2016. The human-based Empire, the combined forces of orcs and goblins known as Greenskins, the Dwarves and the undead Vampire Counts were the first factions that came with the game's release. The tram of evil humans and monsters, called the Chaos faction, was originally a pre-order bonus for "Total War: Warhammer", but was then released as DLC.
The new DLC for "Total War: Warhammer" will be released on February 28. "Total War Access" members will be able to get the game earlier, February 27, by logging into their "Total War Access" accounts.
