Still Friends: Louis Tomlinson Says Former Group Members Are Still Supportive Of Each Other
After winning the Best Artist Video of the Year for the hit single "History" in the BRITs Awards, Louis Tomlinson who received the award thanked all the fans for supporting them. Now a question arises if the most prominent boy band of all time would ever get back together again.
Since One Direction's hiatus in 2015, each member never give up their passion in music and continue to pursue their own solo singing career. Each of them is busy working on their own schedules. The soon to be dad, Liam Payne is currently working on his solo album while Harry Styles is currently on spotlight, filming the war drama, "Dunkirk". Niall Horan is also occupied recording for his solo music and Louis has presently released his first single with collaboration to Steve Aoki.
As reported that Mail Online, One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson confirmed that the band is still supportive to each other despite of their break up from the group. The friendship formed upon their successful career as a band still holds them together.
According to Digital Spy, Tomlinson asserted that the friendship with his music buddies Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Liam Payne is still intact. He also happily revealed that the boys came to support him on his solo performance at X Factor. He sang at The X Factor his hit song 'Just Hold On' with Steve Aoki's to commemorate his loving mother who has just passed away.
Tomlinson discarded all the allegations about the tension within the band and claimed that they are still all friendship buddies. Squeezing a definite day for the young heartthrobs to get together, the 25-year-old singer told the press that the boys have a busy year line up and they are all contained in working on their solo projects yet he never cast off the chance for a reunion.
The fans kept on hoping for this ultimate come back of the group especially after another member Niall promised that a reunion would certainly happen. "[Being in One Direction] changed our lives, it was the biggest part of our lives," he said "It will definitely happen, of course! As I've said many times, we'd be stupid not to. It's going to be good when it happens ... when it happens I don't know."
For now, after his single "Just Hold On", Louis Tomlinson has no plans in releasing a new single. But he assured that if he will about to create an album, he will surely be informing his fans.
