Jennifer Hudson Weight Loss: Dreamgirls Star Dropped 80 Pounds By Doing This!
Jennifer Hudson surprises many with her slim figure when she appeared on the new series "Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway." According to reports, the "Dreamgirls" star was once UK size 18 and dropped five dresses size.
Express reported that Jennifer Hudson's weight loss journey is an open book. The artist decided to slim down after her pregnancy. However, Hudson did not turn to crash-dieting. Instead, she practices portion control and exercise. For her, shedding the extra pounds is not about changing one's diet only the process entails a lifestyle change.
"I don't let the food intimidate me. If it's too much, I just get rid of it, but I make sure to watch what I put in my body. And I make sure I know what it is," said Hudson.
She added that she always have chocolates around because it calms her. Jennifer Hudson even joked that these sweet treats serve as her cigarette because she doesn't smoke.
For her workout, Jennifer Hudson revealed that she loves playing basketball. The game is fun and it's not a burden to do. She doesn't feel that she's working out and added that it keeps her metabolism going and her energy up. "That's that cardio - you're getting it in and you don't even realise it," said Hudson about her favorite workout.
This is not the first time Jennifer Hudson impresses many with her weight loss story. In 2010, she became the new face of Weight Watchers after a dramatic weight loss. She slimmed down from size 16 to 6, News.com.au reported. Her recent weight loss made Hudson dropped 80 pounds and went from size 18 to size 8.
