Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are waiting for their divorce to be finalized. However, in the midst of their legal battle, the "Allied" star has found a new ally and it's his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. The pair is reportedly in contact following Jolie-Pitt's split.
US Weekly reported that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are in contact. Angelina Jolie's ex has reportedly reached out to his first ex-wife after his messy legal battle with the "Maleficent" star.
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt started talking and texting last Feb. 11. The "Fight Club" star has to go through a "tangled web" of contacts just to send his well wishes for Aniston's 48th birthday.
An insider also revealed that Brad Pitt opened up to Jennifer Aniston about the predicament he is currently going through. "Brad told her he's having a hard time with his split and they exchanged a few texts reminiscing about the past," the source said.
While Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt remains good friends, there is no romantic reconciliation. In fact, Aniston's husband is aware of the exes' contact and he is okay with Aniston and Pitt being friends.
Per E! News, Aniston and Pitt's contact is not surprising at all. The "Friends" star has been open about her contact with her ex-husband. Although they don't talk daily, they remain friends and have nothing but well wishes for each other.
Meanwhile, even Angelina Jolie remains friends with her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton. "She's a great person. And she's one of the people who didn't abandon me. She never has," Thornton told Playboy.
Bob Thornton also revealed in a previous interview that Brad Pitt's ex, Angelina Jolie has so much goodness in her heart and they still check on each other and make sure they each one is okay.
