Just in: Kohei Horikoshi's "My Hero Academia" manga will be taking a week-long break. The illustrator suddenly fell ill and it is expected that the next installment of the series will be unveiled on March 13.

According to the Anime News Network, Kohei Horikoshi is suffering from an undisclosed health issue. This means fans will not see another chapter of "My Hero Academia" until the 15th issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump arrives. This has led to speculations that the hit series may soon follow through with the fate of "Hunter X Hunter."

As fans know, there's still no news regarding the release of "Hunter X Hunter" Chapter 361. Yoshihiro Togashi remains mum about the development of his alleged health problems. However, the good thing about "My Hero Academia" is, Shueisha noted an expected return date for the manga series.

This makes the big difference with "Hunter X Hunter." The Yoshihiro Togashi creation has not provided fans with any expected return dates ever since it went on its nth hiatus last year. It appears that Kohei Horikoshi just needs some time off before he gets back to work on "My Hero Academia."

Meanwhile, Funimation has just revealed that "My Hero Academia" Season 2 anime will start airing in the U.K., U.S., Canada, and Japan on Saturday, April 1. The streaming giant will also provide viewers with English-subbed and English-dubbed versions of the first six episodes on the same day.

According to Crunchyroll, fans can also get a chance to relive the memories in "My Hero Academia" Season 1. A recap of the season's episodes will start airing in Japan on March 25. This is a huge gift for fans who were not able to complete watching the episodes of the first installment.

"My Hero Academia" started rolling out on the Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014. In April 2016, the first season of the anime version premiered on the MBS/TBS channel. It is one of the most watched anime series today.
