Samsung Galaxy S8 Render Leaks; Iris Scanner And Bixby Spotted
Samsung has finally come to unveil their "Flagship Killer", Samsung Galaxy S8 and its possible brother Samsung Galaxy S8+ at Mobile World Congress event. Rumors about specs continue to leak as fans can't wait any longer to get their hands on Samsung's next Android flagship.
Set to be revealed on March 29 during the press event are some details on Samsung Galaxy S8 and a possible bigger brother, Samsung Galaxy S8+. Renowned tipster, Evan Blass, shared the supposed render of the Samsung Galaxy S8 which is expectedly launching this month.
According to Blass, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is going to feature a new iris scanner for biometric unlocking. This will allow users to access their device even without the need of a password.
The image on the leak posted also showed that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be sporting a 5.8-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display while Galaxy S8+ will arrive as the biggest Samsung smartphone in 6.2-inch Quad HD + Super AMOLED display reported by express.
Meanwhile, the volume, power/lock and an all new AI assistant, Bixby are seen as the three buttons on the side. The buttons, however, seem has been moved notably from its usual position on the right.
In addition, one feature of Samsung Galaxy S8 is its wider screen. Rumors speculated that the Samsung will push the 18:9 ratio display as with the LG G6.
The smartphone is also expected to operate in Android Nougat 6.0. Apart from that, it is Samsung Galaxy S8 is said to be supporting fast charging, as reports claim that it will carry a USB-C port for charging and syncing, shared Techtimes.
Samsung's official revelation is set to unpacked in New York and will be followed by a reported release in April. Until then, fans would have to wait when the Samsung Galaxy S8 and its bigger brother Samsung Galaxy S8+ are ready to roll.
