After a whirlwind romance with his first wife, followed by a crazy love story with his second wife, it seems that Brad Pitt is ready to rekindle the romance with his first wife, Jennifer Aniston. With his notable absence from this year's Oscars, news outlet have reported that Brad Pitt is apparently busy reconnecting with Jennifer Aniston through texting.

With the ongoing divorce procedures between Brad and Angelina Jolie, it is normal that Brad Pitt would seek consolation and comfort from other people. However, it was a surprise that Brad Pitt opted to reconnect with his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston after the two have undergone a bitter break-up and separation when he fell in love with Angelina Jolie, according to NY Magazine.

Us Weekly exclusively reported that Brad Pitt, 53, reached out to Jennifer Aniston last month. According to a close source, Pitt gave effort in tracking down Jennifer's number to wish her a happy birthday on February 11. Moreover, it was reported that he has "confided" in Aniston since the "birthday text". The ex-couple exchanged a few more texts where Brad shared that he is having a hard time going through a divorce.

Pitt and Aniston went their separate ways after five years of marriage. Meanwhile, the friendliness between the then-married couple is fortunately not worrying Jennifer's current husband, Justin Theroux, 45, as the actor fine with them having a friendly and civil relationship.

Currently, Pitt and Jolie is still in custody negotiations after Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016. The couple has been in and out of court to find a custody agreement over their six children - Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. After two years of marriage and over a decade together, it seems that the relationship between the two is irreconcilable while working out on a settlement privately.

Aside from texting Aniston, Brad Pitt is also reportedly busy immersing himself in creating sculptures. In fact, Pitt opted to skip the Oscars because he was "holed up creating a sculpture at British artist Thomas Houseago's Frogtown studio for nearly ten days." However, what kind of sculpture the actor was making was not revealed. Brad Pitt's involvement with art only proves that he might be really depressed.
