Future Throws Ciara Shade In 'My Collection' Single: Nicki Minaj Dragged Into Dating Rumors

Nicki Minaj is reportedly dating rapper Future, but the latter's ex-girlfriend, Ciara, is having none of that. According to reports, Ciara warned Nicki Minaj about dating Future. The male rapper, meanwhile, gave his ex-lover some shade in his new song, "My Collection".

Recently, Ciara posted for a topless shoot for Harper's Bazaar Magazine. Fans were quick to point out her baby bump and to speculate about her ex-boyfriend, Future. She told Mail Online that she and her husband, Russell Wilson, are doing great. The couple looks happy in photos shared on Instagram, but that hasn't stopped rumors from surfacing about Ciara and her ex-lover, Future, and Nicki Minaj.

Ciara was previously engaged to the 33-year-old Future, but they broke up in 2014, although they have a son. Recently, the rapper was reported to be in a relationship with "Superbass" singer Nicki Minaj. Rumors are flying around that Ciara has warned Nicki Minaj against dating Future, saying that he was just using her. Similarly, Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend, Meek Mill, allegedly told Future not to date the "Anaconda" singer.

Nicki Minaj hasn't said anything official about this. What's for sure, though, is that Future has a new album, "HNDRXX", which features some shady things about Ciara. One of the album tracks is "My Collection". The song goes, "She told me she was an angel/ She f**cked two rappers and three singers/ she got a couple athletes on speed dial/ I'm tryna get the case dismissed before I see trial."

According to the Bet, this song could be referring to Ciara's relationships with 50 Cent, Bow Wow and Trey Songz. Also, Ciara's husband, Russell Wilson, is a Seattle Seahawks quarterback. When asked about the song, Future confessed that it had gotten very personal. He is also aware that the single will anger some people, but he's not taking anything back. He didn't comment on the rumored feud between Ciara and Nicki Minaj, though.

The "Turn on the Lights" rapper was surrounded by controversy before when Ciara and Jessica Smith, another ex-girlfriend, sued him for failure to provide child support. Ciara also sued him for defamation when he bashed her on Twitter. Nicki Minaj and Future are working on a music video together, but neither has explicitly talked about their relationship being more than professional.
