Zayn Malik Mistakenly Honored With The Best Video Award At The iHeartRadio Music Awards
With the great blunder at the Oscar awards, this awards season seems to be full of such bloopers. Zayn Malik, the singer of the former band "One Direction" was yet another victim of such an error at the iHeart Radio Awards. He was mistakenly honored with the Best Video award that was supposed to be given to the American girl band "Fifth Harmony".
The 24-year-old singer, who is currently at Paris, was spotted with his new hairstyle during a fashion show, where he paid his visit in support for his supermodel girlfriend Gigi Hadid. The controversy regarding the award was soon switched to the new experimental look of Zayn from a floppy mane to a sleek man bun.
The hitmaker of "Love You Like I Will" managed to pull on with his new modified attire while he clothed himself with a white jumper along with a knee length jacket. He also wore beige colored chinos to compliment his entire look, Mail Online reported.
Zayn posted a video on Twitter for his acceptance speech along with his girlfriend Gigi, who was also the co-star for his solo single "Pillow Talk." It turns out that Zayn was awarded mistakenly for the hit single. He said that he feels honored and is thankful to everyone who voted for him. Gigi who was next to her pop star boyfriend also thanked everyone and gave a blowing kiss to the camera in the video, Metro reported.
Gigi had put on a futuristic display at the Balmain avant-garde show last week. The blonde beauty was unrecognizable as she walked the runway with a bondage-inspired cage sheer top.
Zayn who was seated in the front row, watched his supermodel girlfriend as she walked the ramp with her stunning eye makeup. Gigi's looks appeared to be catchier with a gold lip ring embellishing her lip while she stormed the catwalk by donning a camouflage.
