Daft Punk New Album: In Anticipation Of 'Random Access Memories,' Jake Meier Creates French Electro Lego Figurines

Everyone everywhere is collectively squee-ing for Daft Punk's new album Random Access Memories which drops May 21. Even, Lego minifig creators.

Jake Meier created the awesome Lego mini figurine above complete with turntables, record crates and of course, their iconic helmets.

Fans of Daft Punk have been getting in on the Random Access Memories action like few other album releases I've seen. With the release of the teaser for "Get Lucky" (a track that has gone on to break Spotify records and spend two weeks on top of the British Singles chart), fans leaped into action creating fake leaks, legitimate remixes and 10 hour loops. Since the actual track came out, it's been turned into an amazing fan-made music video and covered by a host of people (including Dutch reggae-rap group Postmen).

And now there's this. Awesome Lego art in the form of everyone's favorite electro-house producers.

I think it goes without saying that the internet is going to implode when Daft Punk's first album since 2005 (which already has favorable advance reviews) finally hits and that chaos cannot come soon enough.
