‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Leaked Set Photos Hint Shootout In Han Solo’s Funeral
It has long been revealed that "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" will pay tribute to Han Solo through a funeral scene. However, what was not mentioned is the possibility of a shootout during the memorial.
Star Wars theorist Mike Zeroh claimed that Han Solo's (Harrison Ford) funeral in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" will be disrupted by Imperial warriors. He based his assumptions from previous leaked set photos for the movie.
The photos, which were taken during filming in Dubrovnik, Croatia, shows men dressed in black robes. These men were supposedly in a memorial service. Bystanders who saw the filming confirmed this was for Han Solo's funeral scene in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."
Zeroh added that during the funeral service several other men arrived. However, they are dressed differently and appear to be members of the Empire. It is supposedly likely that these men are there to stir problems. Zeroh claimed that their arrival means there could be a shootout during Han Solo's funeral scene in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."
Likewise, the leaked chase sequence in the film fuels this theory. In the video below, several men in black robes are seen running away and hiding in safety. Moreover, The Express previously reported that the filming in Croatia was for the villain Supreme Leader Snoke's planet.
Regardless, details about his shootout in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" remain unconfirmed. So far, what has been confirmed is Han Solo's funeral scene. Carrie Fisher previously let slip that the sequel will pay tribute to the Millennium Falcon pilot. According to The Telegraph, Fisher accidentally blurted out about the memorial during last year's Star Wars Celebration in Europe. However, she did not go into details.
Fans will eventually know if there is a shootout in Han Solo's funeral scene in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" when the trailer comes out. The film opens in US theaters on Dec. 15, 2017.
