‘Supergirl’ Season 2 Reunites ‘Lois & Clark’ Co-Stars
"Supergirl" Season 2 is fulfilling the dreams of "Lois & Clark" fans as the superhero show gears to reunite the stars of an old Superman series. Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher will star alongside each other again but in different roles this time.
Last week in "Supergirl" Season 2, Jeremiah Danvers (Dean Cain) reappeared after 10 years of captivity by Cadmus. Meanwhile, it was only this week that Teri Hatcher's Daxamite queen made an appearance. Although it is unknown whether the characters of the "Lois & Clark" stars will cross paths, there is already a thread that connects them. That is the DEO, from whom Danvers stole a document listing the names of all aliens living on Earth, Mashable pointed out.
As for the Daxamite queen Teri Hatcher is portraying in "Supergirl" Season 2, Cinema Blend shared that she is actually a villain. So aside from having ties to the DEO, the characters of the two "Lois & Clark" alums are also bad guys. However, it is worth pointing out that before Cadmus got a hold of him, Cain's Daddy Danvers was actually a hero. It was only after his imprisonment that he went bonkers.
Furthermore, Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain, who were the titular actors of "Lois & Clark," appeared on the same "Supergirl" Season 2 episode together. They entered different scenes separately, though. Daddy Danvers had a tearful reunion with his family, while the Daxamite queen rightly jolted her son Mon-El with her appearance.
Yes, that is right. Teri Hatcher took on the role of Mon-El's mother for "Supergirl" Season 2. Which means that the "Lois & Clark" actors are both parents in the show. And they are both terrifying parents too: Jeremiah broke his daughter Alex's heart with his double-cross while the Daxamite queen put her son in a difficult position at a get-to-know-my-son's-friends-and-sweetheart dinner party.
