‘Designated Survivor’ Season 1 Episode 11 Is Back; Kirkman Takes the Bullet? Watch Online Here

"Designated Survivor" Season 1 finally makes its return after about 3 months leaves fans in wonder. Previously, the Capitol was in a rumble for a shot launched by an unidentified assassin during an inauguration for the Vice President Peter MacLeish. Agent Hannah Wells did notice such rotten plan and take steps to thwart that wicked act. However, the bullet seemed to work toward its target. The question is who is exactly take the bullet?

Review from Deadline for "Designated Survivor" Season 1 Episode 11 stated the President Tom Kirkman is the one who is hit by the shot. And in truth, Kirkman indeed is the target of that assassination attempt. Amid the turmoil, he is immediately taken to the hospital and has to undergo surgery to remove the bullet fragments remained in his chest. In this situation, he certainly does not have the capacity to lead the country.

Therefore, The White House is forced to invoke the 25th amendment. For the time being in "Designated Survivor" Season 1 Episode 11, MacLeish will act as the president replacing Kirkman. Such position is definitely what he want to be achieved from the beginning. Actually, the conspiracy behind the shot in the Capitol is to put MacLeish in power. More deeply, it is mentioned the conspiracy is settled to achieve greater goals.

But it appears the plan does not lead to a good result for MacLeish. Kirkman is informed going through the surgery smoothly and starting to gradually recover. It makes MacLeish frowned and asked for what is wrong. It looks like shortly MacLeish will stop acting like a president. It might be lasted just for "Designated Survivor" Season 1 Episode 11

On the other hand from "Designated Survivor" Season 1 Episode 11, Agent Wells goes through a long interrogation for she was suspected of knowing who is behind the shooting. She is in a dilemma between hiding the conspiracy crime or revealing what she knew of it. Meanwhile, Emily who comes to know Aaron is involved in the conspiracy has trouble deciding what to do.

In the interview with TVGuide, the showrunner Jeff Melvoin stated that "Designated Survivor" Season 1 Episode 11 will show a deeper conspiracy and some twist answers for it. David Guggenheim, the creator, confirmed that the upcoming episodes will feature more challenging stories. Hence, this American political drama which just makes its return is worth a watch.
