‘Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ Spoilers: ‘Naruto Shippuden’ Leads Will Star in Spin-off

As "Naruto Shippuden" nears its end, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" is getting ready for its small screen debut. Fans are a little worried that their favorite lead characters from the original series may be dropped out. However, the spin-off's director discussed the matter recently.

According to Comic Book, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" director Noriyuki Abe recently explained that some "Naruto Shippuden" lead stars will still appear in the spin-off. Some of the characters include Sasuke and Naruto. The staff of "Boruto" refers to them as "legends" and it would make the series more interesting if they appear from time to time.

On the other hand, Noriyuki Abe explained that "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" is not going to be "Naruto 2.0." Instead, Abe and his team want something "new" to give to fans. The idea of introducing a new generation of ninjas is what Abe and the staff want to instill in viewers.

Abe went on to point out that in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," the new generation will be the main characters. Naruto and Sasuke may appear from time to time. However, the story has been set to depict the stories of the legendary "Naruto" characters' children.

It is unclear if Sakura, Hinata, Kakashi, and the others will make appearances in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations." What's clear is Sarada Uchiha, the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura, and the other "friends" that Boruto made in "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" will be some of the main stars. It is also speculated that Himawari, the sister of Boruto, may play a major role in the series.

Meanwhile, another report from CB gives a few details about the plot of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations." Noriyuki Abe revealed that Mitsuki and Sarada will become close friends in the "Naruto Shippuden" spin-off. As revealed in the "Boruto" movie, Mitsuki was created by Orochimaru and has become his son.

Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha, and Mitsuki, are expected to be the three lead characters in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations." The spin-off has yet to receive an official premiere date.
