Kate Middleton & Prince William News: Palace Mum on Sophie Taylor Pic, Ditching Wife & Duties
Prince William was photographed partying with a stunning Australian model who was later identified as Sophie Taylor. He was on a ski holiday with his friends in the Swiss Alps. Sources say that Kate Middleton was at home together with her two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Sophie Taylor and a female friend were spotted joining William and his friends for a round of drinks during lunch. She grew up in NSW and now lives in Switzerland. According to reports, Sophie is in shock over the media frenzy that followed the release of her photo with Prince William. Some people are even painting her now as the homewrecker in the marriage of the prince with Kate Middleton.
The photo of Prince William with Sophie Taylor may not even be the worst part. Apparently, the prince ditched Kate Middleton and his royal duties to take off for the skiing trip says Mail Online. The press was quick to criticize him for not attending the Commonwealth Day service together with the rest of the royal family and going on a holiday instead. Kate Middleton was also noticeably absent in the affair.
According to Cosmopolitan however, although the people and media were quick to judge Sophie Taylor and Prince William, they have totally ignored something. Her boyfriend, Aaron Goodfellow, was also hanging out with them during the time the photo was taken. He also gave his girlfriend permission to party with Wills, who might not be cheating on Kate Middleton after all.
Still, some questions about the state of the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton need to be answered. Is there trouble in the marriage behind closed doors? Why was Kate not on the trip and stayed behind at home with their children? And, why did the royal couple not attend the Commonwealth Day service with the royal family?
This will not be the first time that Prince William and Kate Middleton were criticized for skipping a major public appearance or a royal engagement. The Palace has not made any comment on their absence in the service nor the prince’s ski trip.
