‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Season 13 Ratings Hit All Time Low: Kris Jenner Furious?
Even though "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" Season 13 premiere was supposed to draw in high ratings, it fell flat. Kris Jenner, who manages the reality featuring the lives of her family, is fuming at the thought that it might get canceled. Will Kim Kardashian's drama be enough to save KUWTK?
According to Headline Planet, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" Season 13 premiere drew in an estimated 1.48M viewership, which is 33% lesser than rating recorded for its Season 12 premiere. The famous reality show had opened at impressive 2.19M viewers last year. The significant drop in ratings is a cause for major worry, as the reality show serves as one of the main incomes for most of the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
Kris Jenner has also landed herself in a bit of a pickle as she has already promised her daughter, Kim Kardashian, the primary buck-maker of the show, a chunk of the profits from "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" Season 13 as a bonus, if she divulged details about her Paris robbery last year. Kim survived quite a bit of a trauma in October 2016, when a group of masked thieves stole into her hotel room in Paris and robbed her of millions of jewels at gunpoint. She went under the radar after the incident choosing not to share her experience until now.
In the trailer of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" Season 13, Kim Kardashian is seen opening up about the first-hand account of the robbery, which is incentive enough for viewers to tune in to watching the reality show. Kim Kardashian will also address her husband, Kanye West's public breakdown during his concert last year, to further boost the ratings.
"Kim and Kris both seem to think that their fans only really care about seeing Kanye's breakdown and the aftermath of Kim's robbery in Paris," Unreality TV reports. But since the premiere has already fallen short of making an impact on fans, will the extra Kim-Kanye drama be able to make up for "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" Season 13 low ratings?
Kris Jenner is in dire need of a miracle since "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" Season 13 stands to get canceled by E! if she does not find a way to bring up the ratings. Stay tuned to find out of the reality show bites the dust.
