'Nintendo Switch' Stocks Update: Stock Refresh On GAME, GameStop & Amazon; Supply Shortage Fix
Nintendo Switch is like its older brother NES Classic Mini, they're both hard to find everywhere. With Nintendo's long history of a supply shortage, it is safe to say that it is not really surprising why Nintendo Switch will also be out of stock everywhere. After the initial pre-order scarcity, players can only find one model with patience on waiting for new restocks.
According to Express, a new wave of the console will be coming to GameStop on March 22. Orders and orders are filling up the store. Just last week, the store orders got a boost because it is known that there will be a GameStop restock. It is still advised to check stock availability before going to the store, but Nintendo Switch is likely that every order will be fulfilled this week.
"GameStop continues to see strong demand from customers who are looking to purchase the Nintendo Switch system," said Eric Bright, GameStop's senior director of merchandising. "We are meeting this demand by securing additional systems as fast as we can."
GameStop stock of Nintendo Switch is expected to be out fast so players are advised to check out often. Luckily, there are restocks going on with other stores. Amazon will have a restock on March 31.
The Argos stores have stocks so it is the best place right now to get the console quick. The Smyths stocks will be available between March 21 and March 26. Tesco will also have restocks at the end of the month.
Polygon has reported that Nintendo Switch expectation has yet again exceeded that stock demand of the console. The original 2 million units in the launch and 8 million units in a fiscal year is not enough. With this, the company promised to ship 16 million units during the 2017-2018 fiscal year. Looks like it will be a replica of NES Classic shortage scene, but only for a while.
