Angelina Jolie Uses Kids To Redeem Public Image After Messy Split With Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in the midst of a messy divorce and custody battle. However, the "Maleficent" star is reportedly taking advantage of their kids to redeem her public image.

On Friday, Angelina Jolie and her six children were spotted at the LAX airport. Jolie and her kids were from London where she gave a lecture to students at the London School of Economic.

According to eyewitnesses, Angelina Jolie's children were tired and annoyed with all the photographers trying to glimpse their way. The "Salt" star was reportedly concerned about her Hollywood reputation due to her nasty feud with Brad Pitt over their divorce and custody battle. So, she uses her children to soften her reputation, CelebDirtyLaundry reported.

Per the publication, Angelina Jolie always uses her children. In the past, when she had a movie, she would be spotted with her children shopping or in one of the international airports.

The "Changeling" star reportedly admitted that she wanted the public to see her as a loving and caring mother. She wanted the public to know that she was completely dedicated to her kids and family.

Aside from using her children, there are rumors that Angelina Jolie is using her humanitarian work as a coping mechanism to survive at her lowest point. The actress admits that doing good deeds is two-fold, it allows her to do what she wants and is a good outlet to distract the media from concentrating on the controversial aspects of her life.

"Is twofold: I have all that gossip in my life that has gotten so out of control," Angelina Jolie told Forbes about her humanitarian works. "And my work in Washington and with the UN gets people to focus on other things."
