Selena Gomez Mental Health: Vogue Cover Girl Talks Fame and Being Forgotten; Hinting on Depres
The upcoming issue of Vogue this year will excite SelGo fans. The "Hands to Myself" singer has finally landed her first cover on the famous and socialite magazine. This is a big step forward for the new girlfriend of The Weeknd.
According to PEOPLE, Selena Gomez is one of the most followed artists on social media. She has made a name for herself even without Justin Bieber in her life. However, her mental health issues have obviously taken a toll on her last year.
It was reported mid-2016 that Selena Gomez has entered rehab for depression and anxiety as a side effect of lupus. She has since been out and has also unveiled new music. Just recently, Vogue tapped her to become a cover girl for the April issue. It appears that she is now doing great but she also took time to talk about her emotional struggles.
In her sit down with Vogue, Selena Gomez explained how she spent time in rehab last year. She shared how she had to sit with just six girls who didn't care about who she was. The "Kill Em With Kindness" singer also admitted that she can't wait for the day to come when the entire world forgets about her.
Selena Gomez said she loves what she does. She is also very much aware of how "lucky" she is to be in Hollywood and be praised and be showered with support and love. However, it appears that fame and glory can also be a source of her depression. On the other hand, she also made it clear that rehab helped her get up from her depression.
The latest interview of Selena Gomez has led some fans to believe that she may be suffering from depression again. It is speculated that she may be struggling again due to alleged issues between her and new beau The Weeknd. However, SelGo and the "Starboy" singer were recently spotted having a steamy date in Toronto.
