English singer Adele stopped in the middle of performing the last show for her 2017 Australian tour when her fans were told to sit down. She scolded a security personnel for being too hard on her fans. Before that, the "Hello" singer called up a fan on stage, where his boyfriend subsequently proposed to him.

Last Sunday night, Adele was performing her last show in Melbourne. It was the last leg of her 2017 Australian tour. After singing her hit single, "Hello", she noticed one fan who cried during her performance. According to the Sun, she called the fan, Chris, on stage. His boyfriend, Wade, followed up after a few minutes. In front of the entire crowd, Wade took a knee and proposed to Chris. Initially, Wade had taken his boyfriend to the concert as a fortieth birthday present.

"I had no idea that was going to happen. That wasn't planned," the 28-year-old singer said. Nevertheless, the fans loved the surprise and many took to Twitter to express how the concert was already off to a great start. The now-engaged couple later told the press that this was a pleasant experience after their café had burned down last September.

Fans loved the unexpected surprise, but there was more to come. Adele was in the middle of a performance when she noticed that one overzealous security personnel was telling her fans to stop dancing and to sit down. Metro reported that the singer called out the usher and said that it was a music show. Therefore, fans were allowed to jump up and down and dance to her songs.

Adele also expressed that anyone who had problem with people dancing in her concerts shouldn't have come in the first place. Fans went wild and praised the singer for defending her audience. This wasn't the first time something unexpected happened during her concerts. On her Monday show, there was a short power failure that rendered the musical instruments useless.

To entertain her audience, Adele ad-libbed and threw out green jokes for five minutes. This week, the "Set Fire to the Rain" singer will finish her Australia and New Zealand tour with a final performance in Auckland. Fans who won't be able to attend her concert in New Zealand will be able to find her at England's Wembley Stadium. Adele will perform four shows there on June 28 and July 2.
