Gwen Stefani Ex-Husband Gavin Rossdale Does Not Regret Cheating On Her

Even though Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale had a pretty messy divorce last year, the "The Voice" coach does not regret cheating on his wife. In a recent interview, he confessed that he has made peace with the events that transpired between him and his ex-wife but still loves her dearly.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale first met when their music bands, No Doubt, and Bush respectively, went on tour together in 1995. They started dating and soon got married in 2002. However, 14 years of marriage and two kids later, Stefani filed for divorce in 2016.

The reason stated during the filing was "irreconcilable differences," even though it was soon made public that the real reason was Gavin Rossdale's infidelity, Us Weekly reported. Gwen Stefani had caught her husband having an affair with the nanny and decided to end their marriage.

After almost a year, Gavin Rossdale has opened up about the controversial divorce from Gwen Stefani and as it turns out, he defends everything that happened on a spiritual ground.  "Therefore, I can't always blame myself for making a mistake," Rossdale told Daily Star. "Are things that appear like mistakes really mistakes? This is the Buddhist concept. Things happen for a reason, there are no accidents."

Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani and both of them are now judging different country versions of the talent show, "The Voice." Stefani, however, is on the judges' panel along with her present boyfriend, Blake Shelton. Nevertheless, talks of Stefani and Blake's romance in the public have not dampened Rossdale's feelings that he still harbors for his ex-wife.

He went on to add that Gwen Stefani will always be his muse and the mother of his children. Not only that, Gavin Rossdale's upcoming album is also reportedly dedicated to his ex-wife, despite the fact that she has moved on with a new man in her life,
