Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Update: Wedding Back On, Engagement Confirmed, Hemsworth Family Intervention Rumors Untrue

Rumors swirled yesterday about an intervention on behalf of the Hemsworth family in an attempt to force Liam to leave his rocky relationship with Miley Cyrus. However, according to an inside source who spoke to Perez Hilton, there was no intervention. And the Hemsworths have always been "very welcoming to the entire Cyrus family." Therefore, the engagement and future wedding are still on!

Miley and Liam's relationship has been  up and down since Miley reportedly caught Liam flirting with January Jones. The couple seemed to separate for a week or two and pics of Miley without her engagement ring sparked a firestorm of media attention.

 News came out that the couple had called their wedding off, which was reported by an insider who spoke to Life & Style.

"They were supposed to get married in June," the source told Life&Style. "But there have been so many problems with them."

"They thought it was best to work out their issues before making such a big commitment. Everyone keeps it saying it - they're too young to be getting married."

Snoop Lion later spilled the beans about a break-up between Cyrus and Hemsworth.

However, Miley stomped this rumor into the dirt in an interview with V magazine.

"I work every day. My assistant is always like, 'I don't want to hear you sing during the day unless we're at the studio, because I'm at the studio with you from 5 pm until 5 am half the time.' And it's like, I'm not home with my boyfriend all the time. We work. Every week it's 'Are they broken up? Because we don't see a photo of them.' I don't have time to go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don't. I'd rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him. And then I'm at the studio all day. He gets up to work out at six and I come home at five from the studio. I put this record before everything, and I've never done that with anything. I've put too much into this record to put anything else in front of it."

In the midst of all this, an intervention by the Hemsworths seemed plausible. However, it appears that that bit of information (like so many that come out regarding Cyrus and Hemsworth) simply wasn't true.
