Xiaomi Redmi 4A: Features, Price, Specs & Tips On How To Buy On Amazon & Mi India

After the immense success of the Redmi 3S and 3S Prime, Xiaomi has launched another budget smartphone in India - Redmi 4A. The new smartphone from Xiaomi was released in November last year but it has finally made its presence in India.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A is targeted at the low budget smartphone market which is increasingly popular in India. The smartphone shares many similarities with the previously launched Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime including price. Xiaomi Redmi 4A is exclusively available on Amazon India via a flash sale. The smartphone will be available for pre-orders start from March 31 on Mi.com.

The budget smartphone from Xiaomi - Redmi 4A features a 5.0-inch 720P IPS LCD display. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 425 SoC with 2GB RAM. The device comes in either 16/32 GB storage options, which can be expanded upto 256GB via microSD card using the hybrid SIM slot. It is among the first devices to run on MIUI 8 that is based on Android Version 6 Marshmallow, reported GSMArena.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A houses a 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and has HDR and panorama modes. The smartphone can capture 1080p video at 30 frames per second but it does not include any stabilization feature. Redmi 4A also features a 5MP Selfie Camera.

A 3120 mAh battery powers the device and considering the specifications, the smartphone is expected to provide a great battery backup. Xiaomi Redmi 4A has Accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensors and the smartphone also supports Infrared, USB OTG and FM, reported Indian Express.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A will be available for pre-order on Mi India website from March 31 this year.  The smartphone is exclusive to Amazon India and will go on for the next sale on March 30 at 12 PM. The smartphone is available in Gold, Rose Gold and Dark Gray color options.
