Kylie Jenner Spin-Off Show Blocked By Kim Kardashian & Kris Jenner To Save KUWTK?

Kylie Jenner's dreams of owning her own reality show will have to wait since both Kim Kardashian and "momager" Kris Jenner are against the idea of the younger Jenner sister leaving "Keeping Up With The Kardashian." They are reported trying to retain Kylie on the show because they believe that if she were to leave, the ratings of KUWTK would take a nose dive.

"She [Kim Kardashian] told their mom, Kris [Jenner], that no way should Kylie [Jenner] be allowed her own show," an insider told Capital FM. Apparently, after news got out that "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" Season 13 is performing poorly and stands to get canceled by E! Kim went out of her way to fund a market-wide research worth $200,000.

When the results came back, she was shocked to find that her fan base was diminishing by the day while Kylie Jenner was getting new followers, both on TV and on social media. The findings have further convinced Kim Kardashian that Kylie's presence on KUWTK could be its biggest saving grace.

"Kim's terrified Kylie is going to steal all her fans and is now obsessed with thwarting her," added the insider. This might be one of the reasons why Kim Kardashian does not want Kylie Jenner to have her own spinoff series.

Kylie Jenner has already been dubbed at the next Kim Kardashian by the public, with the latter even mockingly acknowledging that fact via a Snapchat video where Kim was seen passing an imaginary baton to Kylie Jenner a couple of years back. "Who better to pass on the knowledge to? You guys I give her all the tricks. She is so like deserving. If I want to share my clothes, my tips, my glam squad it is to King Kylie," Kim had said in the video, Mirror reports. 

However, now that reality is really dawning on her, Kim Kardashian might have just become overwhelmed with the fact that Kylie Jenner is really dethroning her as far as popularity goes, despite the fact that lip kit mogul does not carry the "Kardashian" brand name. After her step-brother, Rob Kardashian had his own spinoff series with baby mama, Blac Chyna, called "Rob & Chyna" recently, fans are desperately demanding Kylie to start her own reality show, which can only happen if Kim and Kris Jenner are onboard with it.
