ZTE Quartz Smartwatch Featuring Android Wear 2.0 OS, Google Assistant Launched
ZTE, the Chinese tech giant has launched a new Android Wear 2.0 based Quartz smartwatch. The ZTE Quartz smartwatch is claimed to be the most affordable smartwatch having a price tag under $200 in the United States. The amazing feature of this smartwatch is the AI-powered Google Assistant through which user can interact with voice commands.
According to ZTE USA, the new ZTE Quartz smartwatch will be available online starting from Friday and will be hit the stores starting April 21, 2017. This well designed strong and sturdy smartwatch runs on Android Wear 2.0 operating system which was recently released by the Android OS maker- Google.
The ZTE Quartz smartwatch sports a 1.4-inch AMOLED Crisp display protected with Gorilla Glass 3 and the watch measures 1.8-inch in diameter and 0.57-inch in thickness. The company claims that the smartwatch delivers a vivid viewing experience to the users. The watch is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, which is designed specifically to meet the demanding size and battery life requirements.
The processor delivers a smart, super-responsive, and virtually always-connected experience to the users. In addition, the processor is coupled with 768MB of RAM and 4GB of inbuilt storage and features a built-in speaker and mic.
The ZTE Quartz smartwatch comes with an IP67 rating, which keeps the watch protected from water and dust. The company claims that the smartwatch is safe in almost any situation. The battery equipped inside the watch is a large 500mAH battery, which is capable of running up to 36 hours on a single charge.
The ZTE Quartz smartwatch has different connectivity options such as 3G, Bluetooth 4.1, 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz and GPS. The sensors included in the watch are accelerometer, gyroscope, and barometer. The smartwatch arrives in a Silver color variant with an option of interchangeable wrist bands and customized watch faces.
