Chris Brown, Rihanna Breakup Update: RiRi Hits The Studio With Wale After Split [News Update]

Apparently she didn't have time for him either. S breakup from long-time boyfriend Chris Brown can't slow Rihanna down as evidenced by Rihanna's pic of herself and Wale in the studio. The "Diamonds" singer is apparently working with the DC rapper on some new material.

"Work hard play hard! @Walemmg and I cooking up a lil treat!!! #studiolife,"  Rihanna wrote.

News of her split with Chris Brown became public when Brown talked about it in an interview with Australian radio station 2DayFM.

"I'mma do it solo," Brown said over the air, confirming the rumors that he and Rihanna were through."It's always gonna be love. I'm a grown man, just gotta move forward."

"People have differences and people have different wants and needs," Brown added. "At the end of the day she's a young girl. I can't be focused on wife-ing somebody that young... and I'm young too."

An insider quoted by the Sun-Times claims this didn't sit well with RiRi.

"She really thought that was a sexist, degrading thing for him to say. Especially after all Rihanna endured after he beat her and all that," the unnamed source said.

The source said Rihanna called Brown and "really blasted him, using language that made it sound like she never will get back with him again - no matter what people think."

 Since then, Brown has sent a tweet that seemed to imply Rihanna was unfaithful.

"She's not mine if she's everybody else's," wrote Brown.

"Got a thang for a King, but chu ain't a King!!!"  wrote Rihanna.
