‘Riverdale’ Season 1 Episode 11:Mary Invites Archie To Chicago; Jason's Killer Nearly Revealed

Archie thinks about his mother Mary's offer to go to Chicago and leave home in "Riverdale Season 1 Episode 11. Meanwhile, the search for Jason Blossom's murderer continues and Betty is not happy when she learns that Veronica and Archie are working with her mother in the investigation.

"Riverdale" Season 1 Episode 11 is titled "To Riverdale and Back Again." In this episode, Riverdale is bursting with excitement for the upcoming Homecoming and Reunion weekend. Betty (Lili Reinhart) cannot be bothered since she is slammed overseeing the party, so when her mother Alice (Madchen Amick) asks her help with the Jason Blossom investigation she had to pass.

Alice then turns to Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Archie (KJ Apa) for help find Jason Blossom's murderer and the pair agrees. However, Betty is not happy when she learns that they are working with her mother.

Elsewhere, Archie's mother Mary (Molly Ringwald) suggests that her son moves to Chicago with her. She reasons that Riverdale is no longer safe and she only wants Archie to be safe. The preview for "Riverdale" Season 1 Episode 11 shows Mary trying to convince Archie to leave home. He definitely looks like he is giving her offer careful consideration.

However, Archie may not leave Riverdale at all if Fred (Luke Perry) decides against the divorce. According to the synopsis for "Riverdale" Season 1 Episode 11 from Den of Geek, Fred gets second thoughts about the divorce after he and Mary attend the Homecoming dance.

As for the Jason Blossom murder investigation, Alice seems in too deep with the case. The preview for "Riverdale" Season 1 Episode 11 hints the gang may finally discover a valuable proof that could lead them to the killer, which Episode 12 will tackle. Amick told The Wrap that Episode 12 will reveal the identity of Jason's killer. However, the revelation will open another mystery, which is the motive of the killer. "But the reasoning - why he was killed - is still a little bit of a mystery," Amick said.

"Riverdale" Season 1 Episode 11 was initially scheduled to air on April 20. The show is on a week hiatus until April 27, when "To Riverdale and Back Again" returns to The CW.
