It's finally here, you guys. After weeks of buzz-building Daft Punk's new album Random Access Memories is available to stream in full via iTunes. I thought we'd take a moment to backtrack over the last few weeks and cover how we got here. But first the reason you came here.

STREAM DAFT PUNK'S NEW ALBUM RANDOM ACCESS MEMORIES VIA ITUNES

Now, to the summary:

It began with a teaser that played at Coachella and later during Saturday Night Live. The Pharrell and Nile Rodgers collaboration "Get Lucky" sent the internet into a rabid frenzy creating remixes, loops and fake leaks.

Finally, the official first single was released. And people lost their minds. The single broke records. It flew to number one in 55 countries. There were covers, official remixes and excellent fan-made music videos. It was great and only heightened our desire for the first Daft Punk album since 2005.

The advance reviews came out and it was as we had hoped. This album was going to be great. At the same time, The Collaborators kept fans hanging on every piece of information they could glean.

A tiny piece of "Giorgio By Moroder" recorded surreptitiously at the advance review sessions, made its way on to the internet and was subsequently sought out and eradicated. A teaser released this morning and showed us the album itself while giving us an inkling of the first track "Give Life Back To Music."

And now it's here, in all its glittering electro glory. Have a listen, music fans. You've earned it.
