Danity Kane fans: prepare to have your "damaged" hearts fixed...

A DK reunion is rumored to be in the works, reports TMZ, who spotted four of the five original "supergroup" members (Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres) having lunch together in Los Angeles on Monday with their "new manager." The former fifth band mate, Wanita 'D. Woods' Woodgette, will reportedly not take part in the upcoming Danity Kane reunion and did not attend lunch with the rest of the group members,

Sources tell TMZ that the reunion is "definitely happening" and the four remaining DK ladies "plan to record and tour" without their founder, Diddy.

The "Show Stopper" songstresses were first discovered and banded together by Bad Boy Records' Sean "Diddy" Combs back in 2005, during Puff's MTV reality competition/talent search: Making the Band 3. Danity Kane's Bad Boy boss may have been the man responsible for putting the band together, but he was also the man who led to their demise. Diddy got the ball rolling when he first fired Aubrey O'Day from Danity Kane, followed by the removal of D Woods, Shannon, & Aundrea from his label, sparing only Dawn for his own special project (Diddy Dirty Money), which resulted in the disbandment of Danity Kane in 2008, reports RapUp.

The exact reason behind the band's ultimate breakup isn't known for sure, but it is speculated to be money-related.

This time around, the DK ladies have decided that they will be "making the band" without Puff Daddy, Bad Boy Records, and unfortunately without D.Woods. This was made clear when TMZ caught O' Day's reaction on video (seen below) to their question if Diddy would be involved in their comeback. Aubrey responded with "Who's that?" and the rest of the girls laughed.

Aubrey O' Day, the former frontwoman & the first member fired from Danity Kane, was the initial band mate to spark reunion rumors on Twitter with her tweet Monday evening:

"I got a proposition if you want it... #DanityKane". She attached the following instagram picture, which shows all of the "Bad Girls" back together again (minus D. Woods):

Danity Kane became a worldwide trending topic at least three times on Twitter Monday night, as excited fans have been waiting for a Danity Kane revival for over 4 years now!

O'Day, who appeared with Teresa Guidice on Donald Trrump's Celebrity Apprentice show last year, was the group's number one advocate for a Danity Kane comeback. Despite being fired by Diddy because of her over-sexified image, lack of dance skills, and her "big head," as he claimed that "fame changed her," Aubrey has been pulling for a reunion since at least 2011.

"Most of us all stay in touch and talk all the time," the singer told Rap-Up TV in 2011. "I would love to bring it all back and get all the girls back together and have another little Danity Kane moment in life."

A year later in 2012, she revealed in a radio interview that she really hopes to get the group back together. " I try every now and again when I have opportunities to pass them on to all of us and get them all on board. It's slowly but surely getting better, but you know it's gonna take everyone really wanting it and fighting for it. But we just haven't gotten there yet."

Aubrey wasn't the only DK member who showed interest in reuniting. Diddy's favorite of the five, Dawn Richard, who released her debut solo LP Goldenheart earlier this year, revealed in an interview with Glamour  a few months back that she still kept in touch with the rest of the girls, despite the tension (epecially with Aubrey) caused when she was accused of "conspiring" with Diddy to launch her own solo career rather than focusing on bettering the group around the time of the group's disbandment.

"I was just talking with Shannon, who wanted to touch base about a possible reunion. I was telling her definitely, it's all about timing. We're all in a place now where we understand each other. We knew the things that happened between us. People still don't have a clue, but we love each other and we know what that was. Sometimes the outside broke us apart, but we're gonna be the ones to keep us together as friends. That's the great thing about the girls: We all had our talents long before we came to Danity Kane, and we'll have it long after. No matter what.."

Dawn also added that she would take part in a Danity Kane reunion, "But everybody has to want to do it."

Danity Kane, (a name taken from a female anime superhero created and drawn by Dawn Richard) put out two platinum albums: 2006's Danity Kane and 2008's Welcome to the Dollhouse. They also made Billboard history by becoming the first female group to debut their first two albums at the top of the charts, notes Daily Mail.

Will Aubrey, Dawn, Aundrea, & Shannon find the same success they had the first time around without Diddy's help this time? How will the Making the Band producer react to his group planning a comeback (using the same group name) without him? Will D. Woods have a change of heart and join the rest of the "Show Stoppers" in their apparent reunion?
