AMD RX Vega Release Date: Arriving After Frontier Edition On June, Launch At SIGGRAPH
AMD Radeon RX Vega cards will soon hit the stores after the Frontier Edition release next month. The company is predicted to set the price in its usual low to mid range offerings for the RX Vega Cards. Frontier Edition will be released on June 27, with the AMD Vega cards following shortly.
The Frontline Edition of AMD Vega cards is set to be released next month, July 27, as reported by AnandTech. Frontline Edition cards will also be the very first batch that contains Vega-based cards, the standard setter for the whole Vega product line. AMD CEO Lisa Su has some other announcement about their products at 45th Annual JP Morgan Global Technology Conference.
AMD Vega Frontline Edition cards are expected to have a high price because of its whopping specs. The card will have 16 GB of memory and is aimed at AI platforms, professional graphics, and other professional feats. Though this is aimed for the professionals, the Frontline Edition could still be used in gaming, though this would not be the better option for gaming audiences. The gaming-optimized Radeon RX Vega card is for the gaming audiences, as reported by Wccftech.
AMD Radeon RX Vega will be cheaper and more suited for gaming than its Frontline counterpart. It is expected to be released on the upcoming SIGGRAPH event. Though SIGGRAPH is a venue not usually for consumer events such as E3 or IFA. But AMD is not a stranger to this event, as they have launched Radeon WX last year.
The interest would not only be on Frontline Edition and Radeon RX Vega, it is also expected that AMD will give information about its other Vega-based card, the Radeon Instinct MI25. Additional information about this card is promised to be given on June 20. AMD will also launch its Epyc processors for servers.
