Selena Gomez Praises Justin Bieber’s One Love Manchester Tribute; Jelena Fans Go Crazy
Selena Gomez only had nice words to say about Justin Bieber's tribute at "One Love Manchester" benefit concert on June 4. The singer praised her ex-boyfriend and called his performance beautiful.
Selena Gomez praised her ex during an interview with Sirius XM's "Morning Mashup" segment. The singer complimented Justin Bieber's performance during the concert. "It was beautiful. I thought everyone did such a beautiful job. I though Justin did great, it was really beautiful," Selena said.
Aside from Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez also praised Ariana Grande for the effort that she put in to the "One Love Manchester" benefit concert. "I love how she ended it," she added. Overall, Selena thought the concert was gorgeous and that everyone did a great job.
However, the fact that she singled out Justin Bieber in her compliment thrilled everyone, especially Jelena fans. The shippers went nuts after they heard her praise Justin. According to Teen Vogue, they are overjoyed and filled with hope that the exes would someday reunite. Jelena fans took to social media to express their excitement at the prospect of seeing Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber back together.
Justin Bieber performed two of his songs from his “Purpose” album at the “One Love Manchester” benefit concert. He played his guitar while he sang “Cold Water” and “Love Yourself.” The Canadian star also imparted a few heartfelt messages for the victims of the bombing.
"Would you agree that love always wins? What a better way to fight evil with evil, than to fight evil with good," Justin said before he sang "Love Yourself." He also cried while he paid tribute to the victims and said a few inspiring words about God after he performed "Cold Water" (see video below).
Selena Gomez is not the only person who complimented Justin Bieber for his emotional tribute at the "One Love Manchester" benefit concert. His fans also praised him for his sweet and heartfelt words about God and his importance during dark times.
