Taylor Swift Appearance On 'New Girl' Finale [WATCH]

Taylor Swift made her much-hyped appearance on Fox's "New Girl" last night, and the country/pop music star so closely associated with heartbreak caused a little of her own.

Not content to simply show up, chew scenery and boost ratings like most musician cameos, TSwift's appearance made an actual lasting impact on the show when (SPOILERS!!) she caused Shivrang to leave CeCe at the altar and elope to Las Vegas.

CeCe and Shivrang's marriage was arranged and has been a major sticking point for main character Schmidt who had a relationship with CeCe in earlier seasons. He actually lost his mind upon hearing that Shivrang and CeCe would be married this season. Going so far as to hunt down a lionfish and name it CeCe.

Now, that Shivrang has eloped with Taylor Swift, that opens up the door to several interesting storylines in the next season.
