Eminem New Album 2013: Chris Rock Collaboration? 'Grown Ups 2' Comedian Tweets Picture In Studio [PHOTO]
Eminem has been relatively quiet over the last few years, but slowly news and rumors are starting to become available surrounding the rapper's new 2013 album. Dr. Dre fueled rumors surrounding the "Not Afraid" rapper's new album when he hinted towards its release a few weeks ago. The latest news surrounding Eminem's rumored new album is a possible collaboration with comedian and "Grown Ups" star Chris Rock.
Yup, that's right; comedian Chris Rock is the latest rumored collaborator on the Detroit rappers new album. Rock fueled the rumors when he tweeted a picture of himself in a music studio next to someone who may or may not be Eminem. Rock tweeted, "In the studio with Em don't sleep." You can check out the photo below. What do you think? Is that Eminem? It looks like it could be Eminem, but it also could be Rock playing a joke on fans.
When asked by FuseTV whether or not Rock will be making an appearance on Eminem's album, Rock said, "Uh, I can't really say." Why wouldn't he be able to say if he wasn't on the album? Although there is no confirmation, this definitely sounds like Rock is on the new album.
The comedian is no stranger to guest starring on rap albums. Rock appeared on Kanye West's "Blame Game" in 2010. Eminem's new album is expected to be released sometime this spring. Eminem is already scheduled to be performing at this summer's Reading and Leeds festivals in the UK. When discussing the album's release date, Shady Records president Paul Rosenberg told Billboard, "It's safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we're not exactly sure when."
