Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez [VIDEO]: Billboard Milestone Award Winner Gets Booed by Fans, Kiss from Ex-Girlfriend, Taylor Swift Makes Disgusted Face
The 2013 Billboard Music Awards turned out to be quite an eventful night considering the Milestone Award-winner, Justin Bieber, was booed by fans during his acceptance speech. But don't feel too bad for the Biebs because he got a kiss on the cheek from his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, too! Though Gomez's friend and fellow pop star Taylor Swift seemed a little turned off by the public display of affection. Swift threw some shade their way as she witnessed the kiss, sticking her tongue out and making a disgusted face. Luckily cameras caught pretty much everything last night!
Taylor Swift won 8 awards last night at the Billboard event, and as usual she made some great reaction expressions that we are all used to and love. But perhaps her best reaction came when she witnessed her friend Selena Gomez giving Justin Bieber a peck on the cheek. Swift sat next to Gomez during the televised event, so clearly the two are close friends. The kiss seemed pretty appropriate and generally a nice way to put any rumors to rest, but the 23-year-old "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer did not want to see it. Check out this amazing GIF that captures the whole incident:
What did you think of this kiss? Did it warrant such a reaction from Taylor?
But maybe the biggest controversy last night (besides Miguel performing a leg drop on a fan and perhaps ending his career in the process) was when Justin Bieber was booed during his Milestone Award acceptance speech. The "Baby" singer walked up to the stage to accept his award but was drowned out by a good mixture of cheers and jeers before he could speak. Clearly some people were happy to see him up there considering the award was voter-based, but you could hear the boos cut through the positive reactions as the Biebs just had to stand there and take it. Eventually he got to the mic to talk about how he is not a "gimmick" and that is and artist that should be taken seriously.
