Everyone's favorite rapper of the last year or so Kendrick Lamar recently sat down with Sway Calloway for an MTV interview. During the Q&A, K-Dot revealed that he is inspired by Kanye West, especially the way he markets himself.

"That whole marketing scheme is crazy," said Lamar. "It's very inspiring. After a while you get to a point in Hip-Hop where certain tactics get watered down. How much music can you release on the Internet to get it hot? How many singles can you put out? How many videos can you possibly do?"

Lamar is referring to the decision by Kanye to project his video for "New Slaves" onto 66 buildings worldwide to promote the new single.

When asked about the controversial reported title Yeezus (less than I Am God, but still), King Kendrick was all for it.

"That's that creative Kanye genius stuff out the box," he said. "It's art. It's Hip-Hop. Whatever way is his way of being creative and getting his message across through that album, that's the culture. Period. So, I can't wait to hear it."
