Britney Spears New Album: Songstress Talks To 'Extra' About 8th Studio Album [VIDEO]
Perennial comeback kid Britney Spears sat down with obvious replicant Mario Lopez on Extra to discuss her new album, among other things.
According to Spears, she's already recorded two new songs for her eighth studio album with Will.i.am.
Check out the whole interview below:
Will.i.am claims that the sessions that led to his recording Britney Spears were rather intense.
"Before we even start we've had these juicy sessions, where we've been bonding, building the trust and comfort. I've never worked like this before - not even the Peas," he said in an interview with Billboard.
Spears will also have a new song this summer titled "Ooh La La" that will be a part of the Smurfs 2 soundtrack. Britney announced the song via Twitter.
According to The Huffington Post, Spears is also working with producer du jour Hit-Boy (of "N***as In Paris" fame) for her follow-up to 2011's Femme Fatale. Fatale included hits like "Hold It Against Me" and "Till The World Ends," effectively ending the talk surrounding Britney's career just long enough for her to fade away over the last two years.
The new album has a rumored fall release date.
