Psy New Album [VIDEO]: 'Gangnam Style' Star Announces New Summer Album, U.S. Album to be Released After 'Gentleman' Promo Tour
Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong may need to break out the cold sore cream, "the herpes of music," is spreading as "Gangnam Style" singer Psy is preparing to infect the U.S. with an album this summer.
Psy took the internet be storm with his viral 2012 hit "Gangnam Style." While most viewers had no idea what Psy was saying, his dance moves, charisma, and fun personality garnered him a huge following. On the heels of the success of "Gangnam Style," Psy dropped the single, "Gentleman," earlier this year and has been promoting ever since.
The South Korean born singer caught up with MTV News to talk his new album, promoting "Gentleman," and gearing up for the U.S. market.

"I've got to promo this song! Next week, I am starting to travel again, [going] to seven or eight countries, Psy told MTV News at the "American Idol" finale. "I'm going to be done by end of June, and then, after that I'm really going to work hard on the album, so that hopefully I can release it during the summer season."
