HANNIBAL Episode 8 'Fromage' Recap (SPOILERS) Episode 9 'Trou Normand' Preview [VIDEOS]: Will Graham Slowly Losing His Grip

Hannibal has been focusing a lot on Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and his oncoming descent into what seems to be insanity or destruction. Last week's episode "Fromage" had him hearing random animal cries when there was nothing actually making the noise. What can we expect in tonight's episode, "Trou Normand," where it looks like the focus will be on Will's stability? And how close is the FBI to figuring out Dr. Lecter's (Mads Mikkelsen) secrets after last week's conclusion? (SPOILERS to follow)

"Fromage" was an interesting episode to say the least. It focused on Dr. Lecter more so than Will Graham, which had been the theme of the last few episodes. The crime this week involved a concert trombonist being turned into a human cello in order to be played. "Fromage" was a bit poetic in a way, especially when Will and the murderer, Tobias, described the murder.

As mentioned before, Graham experiences strange noises in his head, usually the sound of a crying animal. He experiences these throughout the episode and gets Dr. Bloom to help him with this new development. They eventually kiss, which had been one of the season's most anticipated moments.

Meanwhile, Hannibal finds out through his patient Franklin (Dan Fogler) that Tobias was trying to get the doctor's attention. From there the episode gains a lot of momentum with a creepy dinner date between Tobias and Hannibal, Will almost getting murdered by Tobias and then the ultimate fight between the two killers.

Clearly Hannibal wins the fight and ends up killing Tobias, which puts the secret murderer in a strange position with the FBI.

So what can we expect tonight?

Here is a synopsis of "Trou Normand" from NBC's official press release:

A SERIAL KILLER'S MACABRE TROPHY RAISES QUESTIONS AND CLUES TO MOTIVES AS WELL AS SECRETS - The BAU team hunts a serial killer who digs up his victims, creating a totem pole of their bodies as a macabre trophy. When Nick Boyle's (Mark Rendall) body is found, Jack (Laurence Fishburne) & Alana (Caroline Dhavernas) question Abigail (Kacey Rohl) about his death.

The resurrection of Nick's body enlightens Will (Hugh Dancy) to some of Abigail's secrets and Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) convinces Will to keep some of his own. Attempting to assert independence, Abigail agrees to write a book with Freddy Lounds (Lara Jean Chorostecki) and in the process, reveals her biggest secret to Hannibal.
