The mysterious musicians Thomas Banglater and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk have scored big with their Random Access Memories album. The French duo has released their best album to date, according to MTV News, Random Access Memories is their first #1 album and second-best debut of the year on the Billboard 200 next week (behind Justin Timberlake's 968,000 for The 20/20 Experience).

Daft Punks' fourth album is breaking records across the globe as the album's first single, "Get Lucky,"
is also their top-charting single to date, peaking at #10 so far, with more than 350,000 downloads, plus another 710,000 in England. It is also the fastest-selling album in the U.K. so far this year, reported MTV News.

In previous years the robotic duo only peaked at No. 44, with Tron Legacy the only album to make the top five at No.4. It appears as though Daft Punks well-placed billboards at massive festivals and constantly shared snippets of their infectious single "Get Lucky" (which also cracked the Top 10 of Billboard's Top Hot 100 last week), Daft Punk created a multi-media sensation that took the world by storm, Paste Magazine reported.

Random Access Memories has already sold twice that of their last studio album, Human After All, which to date has sold 125,000.
