Drake New Album: 'Nothing Was The Same' Track Listing Revealed By Dada-Wearing Rapper's Father
Canadian MC Drake (who has recently made headlines more for his Dada meme than music) may have to have a talk with his father. It appears Drizzy's pops may have revealed the tracklisting for Drake's new album Nothing Is The Same.
Drake's dad posted a photo of the album's tracklisting to Instagram before quickly removing it.
The image reveals that the album will be 15 tracks long and contain cameos from Jay-Z, A$AP Rocky, Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean, Future, Lil Wayne & Birdman. The album also features a who's who of producers like Boy 1-Da, Clams Casino, 40, James Blake (!!) aand Just Blaze.
The Jay-Z track is produced by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland which may explain these photos from earlier this year.
While most new albums from Drake are at least decent, the guest stars and producers on Nothing Was The Same have me very hopeful. Drake's recent output has been a bit amelodic to say the least (I'm looking at you "Girls Love Beyonce" and "Started From The Bottom"). Hopefully, with people like Boy 1-Da and Blake on the boards, Drizzy can coral himself into a few decent hooks.
What do you think? Is this the tracklisting for Drake's new album Nothing Is the Same? Are you excited by the cameos? Is Drake's dad getting a lecture from Drizzy as we speak?
