Pop Princess "Rihanna" Drops New Single 'Right Now' Featuring David Guetta
Rihanna is a force to be reckoned with. With seven albums in seven years, the "Right Now," singer now adds another accomplishment to her ever growing list, after her album hit the 1 million RiRi now has her sixth platinum album, Unapologetic.
We new Rihanna had a navy, but this international super star from "the left side of an island," seems to have an army, marine, force and more-just lok at her more than 7 million Instagram followers. While RiRi has made headlines for drama with Chris Brown and a recent twitter fued with Amanda Bynes, the Barbadian beauty's fans are what seem to count most.
According to The Huffington Post, "Unapologetic" hit the million mark in its 27th week, after selling another 9,400 copies during the week ending May 26, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The album has produced two Top 5 singles: "Diamonds," which hit No. 1 and was certified four-times platinum, and "Stay," which climbed to No. 3. The third single, "Pour It Up," peaked at No. 19, while her latest single, "Right Now," was just released May 28.
Prior to unleashing "Unapologetic" on the world Rihanna warned fans that this "was her best album ever," but if Riri wants to continue to prove that then sales will have to surpass that of her 2005 album, "Good Girl Gone Bad."
It appears as though RiRi is going for it all with this one, Unapologetic was her first album to debut at No.1. With the on-going success of her hit singles "Stay" and "Pour It Up," Rihanna announced on Wednesday that "Right Now" featuring David Guetta is her new single.
Rihanna is currently on tour in Europe having performed in Turkey Thursday night.
