Miguel Leg Drop: 'Adorn' Singer Talks, Freestyles About Billboard Gaffe

Before Miguel's infamous "leg drop" incident at the Billboard Music Awards, the worst thing you could say about "Adorn" is that it bites "Sexual Healing" pretty hard (which, honestly, is a good thing). However, the Internet latched on to the story, turning the young and innovative R&B singer into a punchline.

Of course, Miguel had something to say on the subject. Watch him talk  (and freestyle!!) about it below:

Here he is talking with Kiss FM UK

"I was mortified first of all, because you have to remember that I'm still human so my natural inclination is to be 'Are you OK?' But the professional part is you have to finish the show, finish and then deal with everything," Miguel said.

While people have reamed Miguel for continuing the performance, he gave his reasoning.

"Had I stopped the show, it would have been even worse. It would have been extremely worse, on national television, can you imagine? It would've been mayhem."

Miguel wasn't done talking leg drop however, listen to him freestyle on the topic on BBC's Radio One:

Freestyle starts at 7:35.

 "All we got is time,

Please do not confine,

You're all mine.

Leg drop."

However, the joke-y nature of the Miguel interviews may not help Miguel if victim Khyati Shah does indeed file a lawsuit against the singer.

From The Guardian:

Her medical condition has not improved, [Shah's attorney] Vip Bhola explained to E!, and Shah is experiencing "difficulties" now that the "star-struck ... shock" has worn off. "We will determine [how to proceed] after we have feedback from medical providers," Bhola said
