Reports confirm that Broadway star-turned-film actress Pia Zadora was arrested at her Las Vegas home over the weekend for domestic violence. The 59-year-old Academy Award winner allegedly tried to choked-out her 16-year-old son after the two got into a heated argument over the teen's bedtime. TMZ claims that a SWAT team swarmed Zadora's residence on Friday evening (May 31) after she refused to exit the house... she later admitted to authorities that she "may have" minorly injured her son during the scuffle.

Police reports confirm that authorities were called to Zadora's home late Friday evening. The actress' 16-year-old son Jordan told cops that his mom "attacked" him for not going to bed at a timely hour. Apparently, Jordan wanted to stay outside with his stepbrother when Pia told him it was time for bed. When the boys refused to listen, Pia tried to spray them with a hose to get them back inside. The stepbrother attempted to calm her down, but Pia lashed out and attacked the boy - punching and scratching his face. The argument allegedly went on for two hours. Jordan tried calling 911, and that's when his mother choked him (while trying to take the phone away).

When cops finally arrived, Pia (along with the two boys and her husband Michael Jeffries) refused to come out and speak to them. A SWAT team was called and officers formed a perimeter around the house... that's when the family eventually relented.

Pia and Jordan talked to police, and the "Naked Gun 33â…“" actress admitted that she may have "accidentally" injured/scratched her son and stepson during the altercation.

The popular singer/actress was arrested on Saturday morning on suspicion of domestic battery and coercion after a disturbance at her Las Vegas home. Pia was booked at the Clark County Detention Center and later released after posting $4,000 bail.
