Miguel Kick Victim Possible Brain Damage? [VIDEO]: 'Adorn' Singer Injured Billboard Awards Fan Lawyer Says Fan To File Suit By Next Week

The girl who was kicked in the head by Miguel during his 2013 Billboard Award performance of his Grammy Award winning song "Adorn," may have brain damage, her lawyer told TMZ.

Miguel was strapped in a harness and took a leap over the audience when he obviously miscalculated his landing and struck Khyati Shah on his was down. Vip Bhola, Shah's lawyer, told TMZ, "Some of the difficulties she's experiencing are cognitive in nature and lead to suspicion of a neurological head injury."

After the incident Shah originally told Miguel and reporters on the scene that she was fine, but days later her lawyer said she was suffering difficulties, which may result in a lawsuit.  "We will determine that after we have feedback from medical providers," Bhola told E! News last week, declining to give a timeline on when any civil action might be filed.

Bhola also claims that Shah should have been taken to the hospital after being kicked in the head, and has condemned the way the incident was handled, TMZ reported. According to Bhola Shah will make her decision on filling a lawsuit against Miguel and his team by next week.
